Last night was the best night yet! We saw the most conversions that we have seen in a night yet but I had the chance to share the gospel with a man without using a translator and he accepted Christ! I went out with a spanish speaker and another lady that doesn't speak spanish and we started talking with a guy that was sitting by himself. I started the conversation but then he started to ask a lot of questions so I let our spanish speaker, Alma, take over. While I was sitting there, another guy came up and started talking to the girl that doesn't speak spanish. She asked me to translate for her while she shared with him. She started to share and I was translating but then she blanked out and forgot what to say in english so I took over. I shared with him using one of our tracks and he was really receptive. He said that even before we got there he would think about God while he worked and when we came and talked to him it answered a lot of his questions. After he had accepted Christ we had a lot of time to talk to him because Alma was still talking to the other guy. We were able to invite him to worship and the new believers carne asada dinner that we are having on Tuesday and he seemed really receptive so hopefully he follows through. It was really encouraging for me because I was able to talk to him so much and really use my Spanish. As we were leaving I went to the bread stand where the guy I led to Christ works for a snack and to see how he was doing. When I had talked to him Thursday he didn't seem all that excited about Jesus but when I stopped by last night he was talking to a customer and he had his Bible in his hand! I asked if he had been reading it and he said he had been reading the new believers book I had given him. It was really cool for me to see that his commitment had been real to him and that he was trying to learn more. I'm not sure I'm going to be going out tonight because I'm still sick and really don't want to get any worse while I'm walking around outside. So please keep that in your prayers! Thank you everyone for taking interest in what I'm doing and keeping up to date on what God is doing here in Mazatlan.
